Arising from the ashes of Slowdive's demise in the mid-1990s, Mojave 3 signed onto dream pop label 4AD for their debut in 1996. Soon though, the band migrated toward a more cheery domain -- with some alt-country too -- and released several indie pop praise-worthy albums in the late 1990s and early Aughts.
