The Love Language

Stuart McLamb is the lone genius behind The Love Language.  Their eponymous debut was actually recorded at home by McLamb, and only after he received numerous offers to go on tour as the opening act did he finally recruit other able-bodied members to support him on stage.  Similarly, McLamb chose to write and record the second album, Libraries, by himself, as well.  Fortunately, he had the help of a studio and some pretty quality session musicians who eventually joined The Love Language as full-time members.

The band began as a lo-fi, guitar-laden factory of jingles but has now morphed into a more '60s sugar pop type of outfit.  It works well, overall.  Have a listen and enjoy, of course!

Albums:  Libraries (2010), The Love Language (2009)

Tracks:  Pedals, Brittany's Back, Summer Dust, Heart to Tell, Horophones, Lalita
